A cow that Curtis owned had lost her calf last summer and developed a bum leg. Curtis fattened the cow up during the summer and decided to donate the beef to the HLRC. Pierre Bibbs, Sports Editor|Feb 10, 2016

The now 13-4 North Country Lady Mavericks have locked up first place in the 3C conference after defeating the Scobey Spartans 50-42 in Scobey last Friday evening.
