    Montana Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc is the name of the Montana State Garden Club. On May Day the Saco Garden Club hosted the 2015 Hi-Line District #7 Spring Garden Club Meeting.     The Whitewater girls track team took seventh at the cold and dreary Eastern C Divisional Meet in Glasgow last Thursday, May 14. The team will be represented by four athletes at the 2015 State C Track Meet in Laurel this Friday and Saturday. The team scored a total of 31.5. Scobey won the meet with 103.2 points.     The Malta M-ettes track team was only seven points away from taking the top spot in the North-East B Divisional last Saturday. The track conditions weren't ideal as athletes, coaches and fans braved the wind, rain and 45 degree weather. The conditions didn't stop Malta from scoring 133 points at the meet.     The Malta Golf team had a great outing at the State B golf Tournament in Shepherd at the Eagle Rock Golf Course. Malta took ninth in state with a totals of 361 in day one and 265 in day two for a total of 726 between five golfers. Thompson Falls ultimately won the meet with a score of 641. Manhattan’s Joey Peters placed first in the individual standing with a two day score of 145.     The Whitewater Penguins track team tripled the amount of athletes heading to state that they had last year. Senior Jeret Warren and freshmen Trey Simanton and Trace Simonson all placed in events at the Eastern C Divisional Track Meet held last Thursday in Glasgow. Warren is the only returning state athlete for the boy’s squad. This will be his third year at the big dance.     The Malta Mustangs placed eighth as a team at the North-East B Divisional in Glasgow last Saturday. It was a meet with weather so terrible that athletes didn’t get a chance to place in the pole vault that day. The event was cancelled.
