    A few weeks ago I received a letter from Steve Gouse informing me the Saco Shootist Society’s Cowboy Shootout was to be held at the Saco Range the morning of Saco School’s graduation.     Kathy Murdock (Jess and Becky, of Ely, Nev.) and two friends came to visit grandparents Jim and Pat Murdock for a week. Dixie Moore and Grandma Nolan of Malta were at Grandma Shirley’s last week and helped her get her garden planted. There were showers and wind over the weekend.   • Bibeau recipient of P.E.O. Scholarship

    Adrianna Bibeau has been selected as the recipient of the P.E.O. Eaton-Hendrickson scholarship in the amount of $600.00. Besides having a 3.65 grade average Bibeau has been active in 4-H, Student Council, MHS volleyball, basketball, track and participated in FFA competing in livestock and horse judging. She plans to attend Sheridan College to receive generals and classes that prepare her to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.     The 2016 Malta M-ette Site Volleyball camp will be hosted June 13-15 at Malta High. This year’s camp will be lead by Rocky Mountain College coaches Sarah Irigoin. All student athletes in fifth through twelfth grade are encouraged to attend.
