    The Marian Hills Golf Course hosted the Third annual Jean Green Memorial last Saturday with over 30 golfers present. The event not only served as a family reunion, it also served as a fundraiser that raised $420 for Tricia LaBrie, a friend of the family. The event also had $25 cash prizes on each hole.     Last Wednesday marked a great moment for the community of Malta as the Milk River Baseball Club hosted its first girls softball scrimmage. It was an event that had 15 players between two teams. The event was hosted by a few coaches including Dean Yeadon, Shane Anderson and Donnie Lynn. Yeadon, who lives in Malta with his wife Ella and their children, is originally from Rhode Island.     The Malta Swim Team placed sixth place with only twenty-three athletes last weekend at the Glasgow Swim Meet. The meet was the polar opposite of the cold and rainy Plentywood Swim Meet held a week prior. “It was almost too hot,” Malta Swim Team Head Coach Cassie Pratt told the PCN. “It was good. The swimmers were nice and loose. They were ready to go.
