    The Malta Mustangs are currently holding their annual Mustang Football Camp. The event started on Monday, July 24 and will conclude Thursday, July 27.     Though the temperatures at the Hi-Line Dragstrip were close to 100 degrees last Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23, the Phillips County Motorsports (PCMS) Montana Drag Racing Association Race was still on.     The Demolition Derby has nearly packed out the Phillips County Fair Grandstands in the past two years in Dodson. The event now called "Bash for Cash Phillips County Demolition Derby," has been welcomed back for a third consecutive year and will take place on Saturday, August 5 at 6 p.m. Tickets will be $15 per adult and $5 for children 5-12.     The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum (GPDM) has added a summer intern to their ranks, but not just any intern. This intern is from a land about 5,200 miles away. Lorenzo Lustri is a graduate student from Italy, a true Italian. He came to Malta on Monday, June 5 and will continue to work at the GPDM until late August.   • Swim team headed to divisionals

    The Malta Swim team is headed to Sidney for the 2017 Montana Federation of Swimmers East Divisional meet this weekend. Malta’s team is expected to field 26 swimmers in a meet that determines who will make it to the state meet. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 and will conclude on Sunday, July 30.
