    The M-ettes enjoyed plenty of success last season, going the furthest the team has been in over twenty years, placing third in the Northern B Divisional last November. Their record was 15-6 overall, which will be a tough act to follow. "We were so close to making it to state, but we couldn't finish," M-ette Head Coach Julia Tatafu told the PCN.     The M-ette Cross Country team had a strong campaign in 2014, despite a couple of runners missing time with injuries. Seven of last year's runners ran at the State B meet in Helena, including junior Sophia Stiles (now a junior) who took 14th with a time of 20:30.6.     MALTA- Thomas John Knudsen, a rancher and life-long resident of Phillips County, died suddenly on September 1, 2015 at the age of 32 at his home at Beaver Creek.
