Two separate arrests made in Phillips County last week

On Friday, July 4, at approximately 11:14 p.m., Phillips County Dispatch received a call from the Miners Club in Zortman stating there was a male with a knife threatening patrons. When Depu-ties arrived, the male, Brian Dean Bell of Dodson, was subdued on the ground by individuals at the scene. Bell was taken into custody and transported to the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office. Bell was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and bound over to District Court. He is charged with Assault with a Weapon, a felony, and Criminal Endangerment also a felony. Bell is being held in the Valley County Detention Center on $60,000 bond. Incident is still under investigation.

In a related incident Shelby Lynn Walker of Harlem was arrested at this time for Obstructing Justice, a felony. Walker was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and bound over to District Court. Walker is being held in the Valley County Detention Center on $ 5,000 bond.

On Friday, July 11, at approximately 3:18 a.m. Dispatch received a 911 call from a Malta resident that a male had entered her house and was walking around. The caller secured herself in the bedroom and maintained contact with dispatch. When Deputies arrived, the individual identified as Henry Anderson of Flushing, New York, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office. Anderson was charged with Burglary, a felony, and Criminal Trespass to Property, a misdemeanor. Anderson was held and later bonded out.
