July 18, 2014

11:26 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/cow accident on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputies responded to the location; vehicle found to have a broken axle, did not hit a cow; case file started.

July 19, 2014

1:52 a.m. Deputy reported a vehicle had been egged off of Central Ave.

8:32 a.m. Female reported seeing a male jump on to a moving, eastbound train; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; BNSF Police advised of the situation; train stopped just outside of Malta; no individuals located on any of the cars.

9:18 a.m. Local Ambulance and Fire Dept responded to the PCMS Drag Strip for the drag races.

9:28 a.m. Reserve Deputy removed debris off Hwy 2.

10:16 a.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding her vehicle had been egged; caller did not want to pursue, just wanted PCSO to be aware.

12:36 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire, south of Malta, off of Black Coulee Road; Deputy, local MHP Trooper, local and Saco Fire Depts, BLM Fire Crew and landowners responded to the location; fire later controlled and extinguished.

Thank you to all who responded to assist with extinguishing this fire. It could have been a lot worse without all the community’s help!!

2:20 p.m. Female reported a dog tied up by a garbage can near the Hi Line Retirement Center; ACO handled the call.

5:36 p.m. Female reported damage to the Strater Road railroad crossing; information passed on to BNSF Police.

6:03 p.m. Female reported a toddler in a vehicle not in a safety restraint; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

6:24 p.m. Deputy assisted with giving information to campers in the Trafton Park area.

7:17 p.m. Female reported a rattlesnake on Central Ave; Deputy responded to the location; found to be a bull snake, not a rattlesnake and was removed by the Deputy.

8:03 p.m. Female reported a neighbor’s dog barking incessantly; owner located and took the dog inside.

8:30 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

10:25 p.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop on 5th St/3rd Ave W, which led to one adult male, Theodore French, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated on DUI and Careless Driving charges; case file started.

11:51 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible prowler in the Dodson area; Deputies responded to the call; individual later located and citations issued for Stalking; case file started.

July 20, 2014

12:20 a.m. Female reported a dog barking incessantly at a neighbor’s residence on 6th St E; Deputies responded to the location; owners were not at the residence.

12:45 a.m. Male reported a dog barking incessantly at a neighbor’s residence on 3rd St W; Deputy responded to the location; all found to be quiet.

3:27 a.m. 911 received reporting a juvenile runaway from a Dodson residence; Deputies responded to the location; case file started; juvenile later located at a residence and found to be okay.

3:34 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. tonight.

9:24 a.m. Local Ambulance and Fire Dept responded to the PCMS Drag Strip for the drag races.

11:04 a.m. Female reported a strong gas smell from near Big Flat Electric Co-op; MDU employee responded to the call.

2:27 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance at the pits of the race track for an unconscious male in a vehicle; Undersheriff and local ambulance responded to the location; patient transported to the hospital; coroner case file started.

3:06 p.m. Male reported a grass fire off of Black Coulee Rd; Deputy, local and Saco Fire Depts, local farmers and ranchers responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

7:25 p.m. 911 received reporting a fire at the Lodgepole dumps; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

10:57 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who was convulsing; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

11:03 p.m. Female reported a reckless driver on Hwy 2, just west of Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and citation issued for Reckless Driving.

July 21, 2014

8:21 a.m. Female requested an ambulance for an elderly male at a local residence; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

11:34 a.m. Male, Theodore French, released from PCSO Jail on time served.

2:22 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m.

2:54 p.m. Male reported a missing dog.

4:36 p.m. Male reported a runaway juvenile, possibly in the Conrad area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:57 p.m. Female reported theft of money from her bank account; Deputy handled the call.

8:25 p.m. 911 received reporting the caller could smell smoke in the Dodson area; caller advised there was a controlled burn in the area.

8:41 p.m. Females reported transients in the Westside area; Deputies responded to the location; all found to be okay, just passing through.

9:21 p.m. Male reported a dog had attacked his dog and daughter while walking on 6th St W; Deputy and ACO responded to the call; ACO handled the citations.

11:47 p.m. Female reported a neighbor’s dog barking; owner located and dog taken inside.

July 22, 2014

10:55 a.m. Several calls received reporting a fire north of Saco; all callers advised was a reported and controlled CRP burn.

1:31 p.m. Female reported a vehicle parked in the alley behind her residence; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

2:29 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday.

3:04 p.m. Female reported a grass fire south of Malta off of Hwy 191; Malta Fire Dept responded to the call; found to be a controlled burn.

Several calls received reporting smoke south of Malta; all callers advised was a reported and controlled burn.

6:52 p.m. Male incarcerated in PCSO Jail to serve time on another jurisdiction’s sentencing.

7:01 p.m. Male reported a dog had jumped out of a moving vehicle near the Wagner turnoff on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; dog not located.

7:13 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a neighbor; Deputies handled the call; both parties advised they needed to speak to the Justice of the Peace.

July 23, 2014

12:08 a.m. Female reported a possible situation in front of a tavern in the Saco area; Deputies responded to the call; no one found in the area upon arrival.

3:39 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from noon today to 4 a.m. Thursday.

7:24 a.m. Local MHP Trooper reported to the Rocky Boy area for a double fatal crash.

1:52 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire south of Saco; Saco Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

2:57 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday.

6:42 p.m. Male released from PCSO Jail on time served.

6:53 p.m. Male reported vehicles racing down residential streets; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles located and were parked.

8:37 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 3 a.m. for 4 counties, to include Phillips.

9:17 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for northern Phillips Co in effect until 10 p.m .; half inch hail and 40mph gusts are possible.
