Winter moved in with a blast Saturday night giving us a white cover by Sunday morning. Snow continued to fall on Sunday with a wind building up a few pretty deep drifts. Temperatures are going down too - supposed to be much colder by Tuesday.

It’s too bad the piles of dirt are still in the street access on 3rd street west, the house there is going to be very cold with nothing against it and the water is bound to freeze and break. Asking for winter troubles.

Helen Vogel would like to thank the kind person that left vegetables at her house on Sunday.

Malta girls had a good showing in Choteau in Succor this weekend.

Thanks to the school and staff for their help and thoughtfulness using the school for a polling place on Tuesday.

Teresa Cole was in Helena several days on business and visiting family, returning home Thursday.

Birthday wishes are sent to Ryan Lankford and Clayton KillEagle. Anniversary congratulations are ex-tended to Milton and Fran Werk, Herman and Alice Dolphay and Steve and Barb Trembley.
