Olmstead to speak at two Malta gatherings this week

Lois Olmstead is blessed with a contagious sense of humor and the ability to communicate relatable truths from everyday happenings. We are very fortunate to have Lois speak at multiple events in Malta.

The topics will be different so it would be very entertaining and worthwhile if attending both of them.

She will be speaking at the CattleWomen/Stockgrower banquet social on Friday, November 14 titled Challenges and Changes - Courage for Today. The evening begins at the Lucky Bullet Hole with a waterhole at 5:30, meal at 6 p.m. and Lois speaking at 7 p.m. Tickets for this are available in advance at the local banks or by calling 654-2543 or can be bought at the door for $5 more..

Lois will be speaking at an inspirational luncheon on Saturday, November 15 with her talk titled Never Give Up. It will be at the Great Northern from 11:15 - 12:45. Tickets will be available at the door. For ticket information or any additional information for this event, please call 654-1639.

To Lois Olmstead, finding an adventure isn't too hard to do ...just look from where you are standing. By her own admission, she can't cook. She once made gravy out of Plaster of Paris.

Olmstead is highly popular as a motivational speaker at business conventions, medical organizations and Christian conferences. She speaks at retreats and as a humorous keynote speaker at major events around the world.

Lois shares how to live with joy and courage. Inspiring others is something that has become part of her everyday life. She impacts audiences with her positive views of living a joyful life. She received the Hugh B. Anderson Award which goes to one Montanan each year for outstanding courage and personal integrity while facing the challenge of cancer.

Born on a ranch north of Livingston, Montana, Lois has been married 52 years to Robert Olmstead. Their home is in a hayfield on the family ranch in the Shields Valley. They have three sons and seven grandchildren.

Lois has found a number of interesting vocations through the years. She hosted a daily radio talk show in Billings on KURL Radio. She owned and operated a gift shop and art gallery in Colstrip called Apple Cider Alley.

She is active in many community and church activities and volunteers for the American Cancer Society as a breast cancer survivor.

Lois has written six published books and authors a weekly column that goes world-wide on the internet.
