American Red Cross Blood Drive almost meets its goal

The American Red Cross set the goal for Phillips County at 51 pints and there were 50 successful donors with only seven deferred.

Donors from the Malta area include Michael Ereaux, Don Nevrivy, 11 gallon pin; Ross Salsbery, Patricia Messerly, Mikala Farrar, Terry Olson, Daniel Morton, Tom Golik, Marilyn Taylor, Deanna Hanson, G. L Jones, Kristin Voegel, Riley Abrahamson, Lois Goodheart, Kevin Stevens, Two gallon pin; Dara Wilke, Steve Heppner, Kent Gordon, Don Wombold, Leroy Anderson,Two gallon pin; Ted Kelly, Tanya Kratrer, JR Abrahamson, Terry Hotchkiss, Jim Carver, Fritz Prellwritz, Saleena Davis, Gordon Faaborg, Sonya Vickhammer, Doc Curtis, Sydney Ware, Pierre Gibbs, Darren Demarais, Sandra Wiebe, James Layton, Jeannette Salveson, Alisha Gibbs, Vince Mace, David Veseth, Gerald Uphaus, Eric Wilke, Ken Ryzicka, Bonny Ost, eight gallon pin; and Julisha Simanton.

Dodson donors were Steve Tremblay, Dean and Carol Kienberger, Jim Robinson, Paul Mortonson, and Loring resident Debra Hofer with a one-gallon pin.

The next Red Cross blood drive is Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Malta Lutheran Church. This will be the last drive until September.
