One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of March 25, 2015

Get well wishes to many who are recovering from the “flu and colds.”

Congratulations to the Malta Mustangs and especially to the Malta M-ettes on winning first at state. Again, congratulations to the Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale girls on winning second at state! Wow!

Happy birthday to Pastor Bob Nagy (Lutheran Pastor) and to all March birthdays. Lew Tuma and Ted French of Malta were in Whitewater “sightseeing.”

Dallas and Ashley Green and family have been in Spearfish, South Dakota, visiting her family.

Mike Frietag has been working for them and also for Sally Austin. Now Mike is going to Glasgow to move a house with his dad, Dale, and the house moving crew.

There were more sightseers in Whitewater. They were Earnest Miramon, Correena Torez and Kayla Davis. They, who are Malta residents, like our fair city.

Steve and Patty Young have moved trailers and a motorhome in their lots to rent for the road crew. The trailer and motorhome are rented by road crews working on the highway close to Whitewater.

Many families and friends of the basketball teams went to games in Missoula. Margie Olson (Tatum Moore’s grandmother) went. She sais she saw Pat (Ivanovich) Donich at the girls’ basketball games. Pat graduated from WHS and they now run a bed and breakfast in Missoula. Hi Pat.

Some students from Whitewater and also Saco have gone skiing. My granddaughter, Challise, went skiing from Saco. I am sure I would break my neck if I went skiing.

Take care.
