Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2015 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2015, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2015 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2014 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2014. Thank you!

May 22, 2015

10:54 p.m. 911 received requesting an a.m.bulance in Hays; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

11:21 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

May 23, 2015

12:30 a.m. Male, Dario Carrasco Jr, released from PCSO Jail on bond paid.

3:12 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.

2:03 p.m. 911 received requesting an a.m.bulance for a male having chest pain in the Dodson area; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient refused medical assistance.

2:19 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 p.m..

2:28 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible drunk driver on Hwy 363; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located, driver was not intoxicated had been talking to a child in the backseat.

5:13 p.m. 911 received reporting a hit and run to a vehicle; vehicle had been removed from the scene; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient taken by personal vehicle to the hospital.

8:46 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 9 p.m..

May 24, 2015

12:00 a.m. Female reported a possible verbal dispute behind a local tavern; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

2:59 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; found to be a verbal disagreement between two adults; female removed from the area and taken to another residence.

4:19 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle in the ditch near the Wagner turnoff on Hwy 2, unknown injuries to the occupant; Deputy responded to the call; occupant was okay, vehicle had several flat tires; case file started.

5:38 p.m. Female reported a neighbor’s dogs barking all day; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the area.

5:50 p.m. MHP Dispatch reported an erratic vehicle on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

Several calls received reporting a car in the ditch near the Wagner turnoff on Hwy 2; callers all advised had been reported already.

7:24 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Nelson Reservoir areas.

11:04 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

May 25, 2015

12:21 p.m. Male reported a speeding vehicle that was throwing up rocks in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked, driver advised.

12:33 p.m. Local a.m.bulance reported to the downtown area for the Memorial Day Parade.

12:55 p.m. Deputy and local MHP Trooper reported to the downtown area for the Memorial Day Parade.

1:16 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with threats she received; Deputy handled the call.

1:54 p.m. PC Hospital requested an a.m.bulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

2:51 p.m. Local MHP Trooper received a verbal complaint regarding speeding traffic in Saco and on Hwy 2.

6:45 p.m. Female reported a missing dog.

8:23 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

10:07 p.m. Male reported another male trespassing on his property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:41 p.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

May 26, 2015

2:04 a.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle near a local business; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles located and all found to be okay.

5:11 a.m. Female reported an injured deer on Hwy 191 south; information passed onto local Fish & G a.m.e Warden.

5:15 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance at a rental property; Deputy handled the call.

12:40 p.m. Male reported a stray dog at his residence on the north side of Malta; owner later located and dog returned.

1:13 p.m. Female reported an IRS phone sc a.m..

We have been receiving calls reporting telephone calls with people asking for personal information, bank account information and needing to send money to relatives2. Another call being received claims to be Publisher’s Clearing House and the IRS. These phone calls are sc a.m.s, if it seems suspicious DO NOT GIVE any information to the call. Ask for a call back phone number and call them back to see if it is who they are claiming to be. The IRS does not contact people via telephone.

8:15 p.m. Female reported vandalism to windows on a downtown building; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

May 27, 2015

12:40 a.m. Deputy closed a door on a downtown business.

12:45 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

3:28 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with d a.m.age to a rental property; Deputy responded to the call; information added to an existing case file.

3:39 p.m. Several calls and 911s received reporting power outages in Malta, North Malta, Wagner, Bowdoin and the North Saco areas; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy; power later restored to all locations.

4:18 p.m. Deputy assisted local MHP Trooper on a traffic stop, near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff.

4:51 p.m. Female reported another female had stolen her towels; information passed onto f a.m.ily member.

7:48 p.m. Complaints of possible animal abuse and a constantly barking dog at a local apartment complex; Deputy and ACO responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

10:38 p.m. Female reported a vicious dog running loose in a residential neighborhood; Deputy responded to the call; dog not located.

11:20 p.m. Female reported a vehicle/bull accident on Hwy 191 south; MHP Trooper handled the call.

May 28, 2015

12:40 a.m. Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop, involving a non-enrolled individual, on the reservation; Deputy handled the call.

8:22 a.m. On-Star reported a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 191, south of Malta; caller advised had been previously reported; vehicle removed later in the day.

1:00 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 9 p.m. tonight.

1:27 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle driving well over the speed limit on Hwy 2, eastbound, towards Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding.

2:31 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a vehicle parked at his residence and did not belong to the caller; Deputy handled the call.

3:29 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for eastern Phillips Co until 4 p.m .; nickel sized hail and 40mph gusts are possible.

3:45 p.m. Female reported a verbal traffic complaint about the construction zone pilot car; Deputy handled the call.

5:47 p.m. Deputy reported a tree branch on a power line on 3rd St West; power was still on; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

6:33 p.m. Female reported d a.m.age to a power line by a truck near a local business; Deputy and NorthWestern Energy responded to the call; case file started.

8:10 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

8:29 p.m. Female reported a male trespassing on her property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:02 p.m. Female reported a suspicious person walking up and down residential streets; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, female was talking on a phone.

May 26, 2015

12:33 p.m. Adult Probation Officer requested PCSO assistance at a local residence; Deputy handled the call.

12:50 p.m. Female reported a fender/bender in the downtown area; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:44 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

5:10 p.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:23 p.m. Female reported a missing dog; dog later located and returned to owner.

5:31 p.m. Female reported another female had passed away at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; coroner case file started.

5:48 p.m. 911 received reporting a male trespassing on property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:45 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.
