Preferred requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; strong grasp of AP Style; digital photography experience. The ideal candidate will also appreciate living in the West. HOUSING STUDY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Cities of Chinook, Harlem, and Malta have been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) by the Montana Department of Commerce (DOC) to help finance the development of a housing study for the Cities of Chinook, Harlem, and Malta.

With the award of funding, the Cities of Chinook, Harlem, and Malta are soliciting proposals for consultant services to conduct the study. The housing study must be in accordance with the requirements of the Montana CDBG Program. Payment terms will be negotiated with the selected offeror. The fee for consultant services will be paid for with a combination of city and CDBG funding. It is expected that the housing study will be finalized on or before January 15th, 2016.

The selected offeror will prepare a housing study which evaluates, analyzes, and proposes housing options to help address the housing needs in Chinook, Harlem, and Malta.

This solicitation is being offered in accordance with federal and state statutes governing procurement of professional services. Accordingly, the Cities reserve the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory or inappropriate.
