Arlene M. Anderson

MALTA-Arlene M. Anderson, a homemaker, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at her home with her family by her side.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation has taken place at the Hi-Line Crematory. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com. Kirkwood’s of Malta is in charge of arrangements.

Arlene was born October 7, 1933 in Turner, Montana, the daughter of Peter and Selma (Mellesmon) Skones. After her schooling she married William (Sonny) Anderson on May 8, 1950 in Turner. They moved to his uncle’s farm at North Wagner in 1952 to work. In 1955 they went south of Malta to work his family ranch. They eventually purchased the ranch from his parents and worked in until about 2000 when they retired to their home on Kid Curry Road. Arlene enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, and her family especially her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her husband William (Sonny) Anderson of the home, sons, Ben (Gen) Anderson of Denver, Monroe (Lori Rustad) Anderson, Bill (Hope) Anderson both of Malta; daughters, Dianne (Jeff) Hould of Malta, Eva (Larry) Olson of Roundup; brother, Russell (Rosella) Skones of Idaho. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe; brother, Gordon; sisters, Sylvia, Helen and Gladys.
