One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of October 7, 2015

Sympathy to Becky Anderson’s family, and to Elaine E., on the loss of Becky’s brother, and Elaine’s son, in Washington state. Some of the family traveled to Washington in order to attend the funeral.

Get well wishes to Margie Olson and others around the county who are sick.

Janet Brown – my sister – has been visiting with relatives and friends. We attended churches and a volleyball game and had hotdogs and soft pretzels while we were at the game.

The Dallas Green family all went to Billings for appointments.

Curt Reichelt sometimes fills the train’s engine with diesel fuel. That must be fun (I love trains.)

Jeanie Green returned from her trip to Oklahoma where she picked cotton. She said “raw cotton is real soft.”

Congratulations to Michelle and Cody Math (of North Whitewater) on the birth of their new baby girl! She has a big sister at home to play with. Debbie (grandmother) went to Billings to see the baby girl.

The Whitewater Lutheran Church is having a potluck on Sunday, November 8 and everyone is welcome. Call either Malta or Whitewater Church for more details.

Patty and Steve Young went to Billings recently.

The Whitewater Post Office was noisy as 20 boxes of baby chicks arrived (about 700 of them.) They were soon delivered to the Loring Hutterite Colony. I bet it was a lot of fun.

Weather here in Whitewater is beautiful. The trees are just beginning to turn golden brown. Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts.
