Does anyone remember the old Power Plant that was located a few miles below Cow Island on the bank of the Missouri River? It was originally built because the Little Rockies Ruby Mine needed more power than could be supplied by the electrical plant south of Landusky. To solve the problem the stock holders of the mine came up with a plan to located an electric plant on the banks of the Missouri River.
