Loring News for week of November 18, 2015

Pete and Carol Lumsden hosted their granddaughters, Ellie and Aubrie Norville, this week while their parents were in California for class.They all attended the Lutheran dinner in Malta on Thursday and visited Ruth and John Flansaas. Dixie Stordahl attended the junior high basketball games with Turner Tornadoes on Thursday. Kia Wasson and Beau Simonson are the kids that played from the Loring area. Dixie Stordahl visited her mom on Sunday, and was surprised to see the Cross Country 4-H Club in playing cards and visiting with the Hi-Line Retirement Center Residents! Amy Simonson, Kennedy and Heather Simonson and Beau were the Loringites partaking! Loring Lutheran will not have services this next Sunday but will hold the Advent service on November 29 at 9:30. Chad Wisher will be holding church services at Loring on November 22 at 2 pm. He is the minister for the Independent Baptist Church. The weather has been superb, warm calm, dry. Dixie Stordahl attended the Official Visitation of the Order of Eastern Star on Saturday. Dixie and Lu Besel decorated and set up the luncheon. Loring Woman's club will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
