Things will be a lot warmer at the Malta Senior Center for the near future as a recent breakfast benefit held by center board members – along with the news of a recent MDU grant – will allow the center to be soon fitted with a new furnace.
Two Saturday’s ago, over 75 people enjoyed biscuits and gravy served by Nina Jones and Jeanette Heinle, co-chairs of the meal, at the Malta Senior Center with the proceeds going towards the new furnace for the center.
“It went very well,” said Senior Center President Leonard Leader of the Saturday breakfast.
