Sympathy to Dixie Stordahl and family on the loss of Barbara Cowan. She and Gene Cowan ranched close to Loring, Mont., for many years.

Charles Johnson of Malta spoke for the Gideon organization in the Lutheran Church recently. The Gideons place Bibles in hotel rooms and other places.

There will be a 60th Birthday Party for Jeanie Green and Dale Marshall (Saco.) It will be held at the Tin Cup in Malta on Saturday, March 26 from 7 to 10 p.m. Bingo will be played and it will be a benefit for Fire, Rescue and Ambulance services. There will also be a fishpond for the children.
