One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for June 1, 2016

Get well to Tracia LaBrie, who is in Seattle, Wash. Sympathy to them as well as their car was broken into and were stolen while she was in the hospital. How can people be so mean?

Helen DePuydt called me and said her daughter, Teresa (a former Whitewater graduate) is an artist who illustrated a children’s book about llamas. Maybe I will ask her to illustrate my book. Wisher’s have gone to South Carolina, so there will not be church in Whitewater or Baptist Church in Malta for the next few weeks. Then there will be VBS, camp, etc… Dates to run in this column later.

Welcome to the worker from France who is working at the Simonson’s. He likes the USA!

Several children had a lemonade and cookie stand here in town. Good work, children.

North 40 opened for a dart tournament, auction and dinner. It will open for good soon.

Alexandria Santillan spent a few days helping me. Her mom, Nena, works at the Hi-Line Retirement Center. Their family came to town for graduation in Whitewater all the way from California. They all stayed at the Youth Ranch.

Monte Broadbrooks of Saco visited me recently. It was very nice.

We had a cold wind, rainstorm, a real cloud burst. Everything is very green now.

If you want to get ahead, just put one foot in front of the other!

Have a nice week,

Helen.
