Pokémon Go is a game based off of the original Ninetendo Pokémon games and TV show. In the games you play as a Pokémon trainer who travels around catching and training all sorts of different Pokémon and then battling them at gyms to earn badges. In Pokémon Go you walk around town, or wherever you are and find Pokémon. They can be anywhere and everywhere, and they don't stay in just one spot just like real animals don't.
