One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for August 3, 2016

Rain, rain, and more rain! We shouldn’t complain—some places would love to share with us---but maybe let’s have a break? Wednesday was another wet day with two big storms of hard wind and rain.

Prayers and good wishes for his recovery are sent by the community to Alan Guderjahn, as he was wounded in the line of duty as an officer.

Nellie Sherman of Butte came to visit Dora Henry on Thursday. They visited with others that she knew when she was Dodson’s superintendent for six years. They enjoyed seeing Mark and Seresa Pankratz and Jan Edmister on Friday evening and having dinner at the Pankratz’s on Sunday evening. They enjoyed lunch with Terri Cole, Bonnie LaBrie and Polly Solberg on Monday.

Jan Edmister called at Dora Henry’s on Sunday.

Polly Solberg attended church in Harlem with Orvin Solberg on Sunday.

Congratulations to Wink and Terri Cole on the new grandson born to daughter Kelly and husband.

Birthday greetings go out to Bea Cole, Molly Minugh, Corky LaBrie and Randy Dolphay. Congratulations to Edmund and Gloria Mortenson on their wedding anniversary.

An optimist is someone who tells you to cheer up when things are going his way.

Have a happy week and enjoy the Phillips County Fair this week!
