Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service Training set for Aug. 10

The Phillips County Coalition for Healthy Choices is sponsoring a Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service training Wednesday, August 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the lower level of the Phillips County Coalition for Healthy Choices Building at 101 S. 7th St West. (The Old St. Mary’s School) The training is free of charge.

The “Let’s Control It” course, approved by the Montana Department of Revenue, teaches participants how to make a reasonable effort to reduce underage alcohol sales and over service. The course involves outlining Montana’s alcohol laws, minimizing server liability, recognizing false identification and identifying underage persons, drink equivalency activities, and effective customer evaluation techniques.
