One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for November 16, 2016

National News

Well, I am moving to Australia since Trump became president of the USA! How would someone who hates people of different nationalities, different religions (Muslims), women and people with any disabilities become the leader of The Great USA? God help us all.

Congratulations to Hillary Clinton on running a really wonderful campaign and for her life’s work. Best of luck for the future, Hillary.

Whitewater News

There was a baby (boy) shower for Kate Murdock, daughter of Jim and Nancy Murdock (Nancy taught music at Whitewater, but now lives in Bozeman.) Nancy returned to Malta to go to her grandson’s baby shower. Ree Simonson and Pat Murdock attended the shower. Kate got many nice gifts.

Election Day, many voted! Then there was Turkey Bingo and a nice supper. It was a benefit for the WHS class. A turkey was won by Patty Young and Pat Anderson won a ham. The fundraiser was a success.

Justin Austin of Denver, Colo., was here to help with the cattle shipping.

There have been hunters around. (I would rather see the deer, birds and other wildlife jumping instead of killed.)

The North 40 has done good business between hunters, ranchers and their help and shipping cattle.

Happy birthday to all November birthdays.

Congratulations to Challise Young (my granddaughter) on being Student of the Month at Saco High School.

Bobby and Pat Anderson went to the rodeo in Canada.

Here is something funny from real life in Whitewater, Montana.

Courtney and Jason Hellie have geese close to their yard (we can hear them). Well, a lone duck from Whitewater Creek joined them. Jason captured the duck and took it back to the creek. Well, the duck returned to their gaggle of geese. Are some people like that?

Enjoy the nice weather.

Helen.
