Whist

On Tuesday, December 20, Roy Baeth and Sherman Doucette each notched 43 points in a tie for first. Lou Olson scored 39 good for second and the traveling prize was awarded to Jeanette Heinle.

On Tuesday, December 27, Jerry Depute took first place with 51 points, nine better than Jeanette Heinle who netted 42 good for second place. The traveling prize was awarded to Ken Ruziska.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, December 27, the team of Clara and Pearl split the day's action with the team of Gloria and Curt, 19-4 for Pearl's squad in the first frame, 13-8 for Gloria's team in the second.

On Friday, December 30, Curt and Agnes won the first game 15-8 and Pearl and Clara got even in the second with a 15-6 tally.

"We have really had fun all year," Pearl reported, "and we pray 2017 will be the same. Happy New Year to everyone."

Pinochle

On Thursday, December 22, Clarence Blunt tallied 6,330 to take first place and was followed by Lou Olson who scored 6,100 to take second. Both Clarence Blunt and Jerry Depute were awarded the traveling prize.

On Thursday, December 29, Shirley Jones scored 7,320 to capture first place. Second place was earned by Ken Ruziska who scored 7,030 and also shared the traveling prize with Clarence Blunt.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, December 21, Keith Stine and Madelyn Anderson ranked first. Bob Maxie and Margo Rush earned second place.

The following Wednesday, Byron Ereaux and Margo Rush captured first place. Keith Stine and Bonnie Millar tied with Malcolm Clouse and Donna Olson for second.
