MALTA- Grace Edna Wiese, 94, peacefully passed away of natural causes on March 24, 2017. She was reunited with some of her favorite angels.

Cremation has taken place. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Grace was born to Albert and Ester Lawrence in Hinsdale, Mont., on September 26, 1922. She married her husband of 75 years, Fred C. Wiese in March of 1942. Grace and Fred then moved northwest of Loring, Mont., where they made their home with their seven children on the family farm. In 1995 they retired from farming and moved to Malta, Mont., to enjoy the simpler life.

Grace had a passion for gardening and planting flowers. She also love canning, cooking and holiday baking with her family. Especially when they requested the "infamous" German dish known to them as "sinkers." Grace truly enjoyed going for a "spin around town," whether it was to check the mail, or visit with an old friend over coffee.

Grace is survived by three sisters, Ruby Currie, Shirley Wallace, and Pearl Springall all of Canada. Three daughters Dorie (Tony) Ferrari of SunRiver, Mont., Thelma (Ed) McMaster of Chinook, Mont., and Vickie Wiese of Malta, Mont., three sons Melvin L. Wiese of Malta, Mont., Fred Wiese of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Wayne Wiese of Bayshore, N.Y. Grandchildren include Chris Wiese of El Cajon, Calif., Cammi Simpson of Glasgow, Mont., Anthony Ferrari of SunRiver, Mont., Lauri Ferrari of SunRiver Mont., Jennifer (Robert) Hancock of Billings, Mont., Jammie (Donnie) Uran of Sidney, Mont., Jessica Wiese of Sidney, Mont., Brian Wiese of Malta, Mont., and Lacie Wiese of Great Falls, Montt. Nine Great-Grandchildren Ashten, Kassi, Layne, Cole, Landon, Aidan, Carter, Dominic and Hayden as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred, her daughter Velma, her brothers George and Kenneth, sister Joyce, and one great-grandchild Toryn.

Grace devoted her life to her family. She always made sure everyone was well taken care of, whether their bellies were full or their hearts content. She will be forever missed but her contagious smile will live on through her grandchildren.

A family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Gift of Life Housing in Great Falls, Mont.
