One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for June 7, 2016

Memorial Day, many went to Nelson Reservoir for camping. Others, like myself, went to decorate graves wherever loved ones were buried. I went to the Malta Cemetery to place flowers on Mom (Martha’s) Dad (Harvey Sr.’s) and Brother (Harvey Jr.’s) graces. Visiting the cemetery brings up lots of memories. But life goes on, so we (I) think of the future.

Also, Memorial Day I went to Veteran’s Memorial Park for service (Dad was in Wolrd War I.) Finally, Linda Berg and Sally Austin and I were among the crowd at the VFW Club for lunch and a ceremony. Very nice day.

Seeding (farming) is almost complete in this area. Now we need rain, so we should all pray for it (rain.)

Today is quite since school is out and some people are gone on vacation.

Jamie and Randy at the North 40 went to a swim meet with their son who is a great swimmer. Although he is young.

Helen DePuydt was at Senior Meals at the North 40. She reported that Teresa (her daughter) has illustrated another children’s book! Salute to Teresa and all artists.

It is hard to believe June is here! Happy birthday to Linda Berg, Janet Brown (Sis), To Julie (Austin) Cole and all June birthdays and anniversaries.

Enjoy the nice days.

Helen
