LORING NEWS

I have experienced 97-degree weather last week along with the low 30's this week. Last week my sister, Debbie and I went to Phoenix for a few days to visit out brother Scott and his wife Roxanne.

We had a great time! The flights were basically on time and smooth, no crying babies that I heard. We visited the Butterfly Wonderland, the Museum of the West, and went to Lorie Morgan Concert at the Musical Instrument Museum! We went out to eat at the California Cheese-cake Factory. But the best of all was spending time with family!

The cabinets were installed at the church, so little by little the last touches are getting finished! I visited with Ray Harms while he was doing the front steps and ramp. Caleb also was out finishing up the rock work.

Cindy Clark had the grandkids over to carve pumpkins this last weekend! She grew some dandies this year!

Many calves are being separated from their mamas this time of year. Hopefully the price is fair and the truckers qualified!

This wind has been very vengeful! Saturday, however, was beautiful! I spotted a flicker eating insects on the cottonwood. Probably the last migrating bird I'll see til next spring.

The Mustangs ended their season in the playoffs on Saturday against Missoula Loyola. The Simon-son's and Simantons traveled across the divide to cheer on the team! Great season Trace, Trey, and Beau!

The Lady Mavericks took second place at the district volleyball tourney and will now participate in the divisional tourney! Way to go, Kia!

Loring Lutheran Church will be held on November 5 at 9 in the morning. Remember to turn your clocks back so you are on time!

Be safe on Halloween and eat lots of candy!
