P.C. Sheriff's Report for December 27, 2017

November 17, 2017

10:05 p.m. Deputies transported one adult male, Mark Jakanoski, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Aggravated DUI charges.

November 18, 2017

8:10 a.m. Female reported an erratic and speeding vehicle on Hwy 2, eastbound through Saco; information passed onto MHP and Valley Co SO; vehicle located in Valley Co and citations issued.

10:40 a.m. Deputy released one adult male, Mark Jakanoski, from PCSO Jail on bond and issued a Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

11:52 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who couldn’t get up; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

3:31 p.m. Female reported dogs running loose by the weigh station.

9:58 p.m. Male reported suspicious activity around a local business; Deputies responded to the call; location monitored for the night.

10:56 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

November 19, 2017

3:38 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

6:35 a.m. Female reported an injured deer in a residential yard off of Frontage Rd; Deputy responded to the location; deer not located.

9:02 a.m. Local Ambulance transported a patient to the Havre hospital.

10:30 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a stuck vehicle on the CMR; information passed onto Fergus Co SO.

8:26 p.m. Male reported a missing dog.

8:34 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am-10pm Monday.

November 20, 2017

12:08 a.m. Female reported a vehicle/deer accident on Route 66, off of the reservation; no injuries or damage to the vehicle, deer was still alive; Deputy responded to the call and humanely euthanized the deer.

1:01 a.m. Female reported a stray dog at a local church; information passed onto ACO.

1:36 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

2:17 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 9am-10pm today.

8:35 a.m. High Wind Warning in effect until 2pm today for southwest Phillips Co; Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10pm for the rest of Phillips Co.

11:14 a.m. Female requested the female transient be removed from the Malta Depot; Sheriff responded to the call; female removed, advised she cannot stay there and she left.

11:52 a.m. Valley Co received a report of a vehicle swerving and going slow on Hwy 2, westbound from Saco; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and stopped; driver advised a couple gears had gone out of the vehicle and was trying to limp it home.

12:46 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing family members from her residence; Sheriff handled the call.

2:12 p.m. High Wind Warning has expired; Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10pm.

5:55 p.m. Female reported a vehicle/deer accident; white form issued.

7:23 p.m. 911 received reporting a dead deer in the driving lane of Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call and removed the deer.

9:24 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

November 21, 2017

10:25 a.m. Female reported smoke near the Wagner Hwy; caller advised was a reported controlled burn.

3:57 p.m. Female brought in a found set of keys from the PC Courthouse parking lot; if you are missing a set of keys, please call 654-2350 to describe and claim.

9:16 p.m. Female reported a missing wallet; caller later reported it had been found.

November 22, 2017

7:54 a.m. Female filed a written complaint regarding a vehicle that almost hit her vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

1:07 p.m. Local business reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto Misdemeanor Probation Officer; case file started.

2:12 p.m. High Wind Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through late night for southwest Phillips Co.

2:14 p.m. Female reported individuals trespassing to a residence that should be vacated; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

4:20 p.m. Male requested assistance for himself, fell and cannot get up; caller did not want an ambulance; family member contacted and assisted the caller.

5:04 p.m. Male reported suspicious activity involving a juvenile family member in the Trafton Park area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles and individuals not located.

5:10 p.m. Individuals issued a one night stay voucher and two meal vouchers through the local Ministerial Association.

7:06 p.m. 911 received reporting a male, possibly hit by a vehicle, on Hwy 191 south, near the Bear Gulch turnoff; Deputies, local EMT Crew and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; male transported to the PC Hospital.

Several more 911s and calls received reporting the male on Hwy 191; all callers advised emergency units were enroute.

8:30 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 191, south of the DY Junction; all found to be okay, just waiting for help to arrive.

November 23, 2017

3:24 a.m. High Wind Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through late night for southwest Phillips Co.

9:14 a.m. Ministerial Association issued a one night stay voucher for two local individuals.

10:23 a.m. High Wind Warning in effect from noon today to 6am Friday for southwest Phillips Co; Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon today to 6am Friday.

1:03 p.m. Male reported a grass fire north of Malta; local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire controlled and extinguished.

1:23 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire off of the Content Road; Malta, South Malta, Saco, Hinsdale & Long Run Fire Depts responded to the call; BLM Fire Crews also responded; fire later controlled and extinguished.

Several calls received offering assistance for the fire from farmers and ranchers, and individuals with water trucks; callers all advised of fire location.

2:13 p.m. Deputy responded to the Content/Black Coulee Road area for traffic control.

2:26 p.m. High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6am Friday; Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6pm Friday.
