One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 4, 2018

I'm trusting that everyone had a great Easter celebration! The weather was a bit unsettled, but no new snow during the day.

I saw Twila Johannesen in Malta this week and she said that Scott and Jenn Hoge and girls were arriving for Easter. I believe they live in Minot now. She also said that Shane and Shelton and their big sis would be with her for Easter, too!

Paula Morrison, Tawnya Coleman, Chase, Kage, and Blake were at church for Easter. They were excited about seeing their cousins!

Becca and Robert Engum of Great Falls caught the Easter bunny at the Clark households. Jonnae and Jim Slade and Kalen of Billings visited the Lumsdens, Blunts, and Norville's. They

also spent some time with the Slade's and Flansaas family in Malta. Ruth Flansaas is

recuperating in the HiLine Retirement Center for a couple of weeks. She has a nasty cough and took a tumble last week.

Get well, Ruth!

The second blue moon in 2018 occurred this weekend! It is rare to have a full moon twice in the same month, but when they are at the beginning of the month, 28 days later there will be another!

I love to see the calves along the road as I drive to School or Malta. Thanks, Jason, Kyle and Kent, Dallas, Gary and Doug for letting me watch the babies!

I saw some barrel racing results from Billings with my nieces' names in the placings and guess what else I found, Keira and Kiana Simonson and Buck Nelson! I was pleasantly surprised! Dan and Judy must have been taking a turn with the calving!

Keep watching for the Meadowlark! It is bound to show up pretty soon along with the elusive spring!
