One Nation, Under God

Card News for May 2, 2018

Sympathy to Scott Scheffelmear on the loss of his brother, Clay.

Sympathy also to the Hill family on the loss of a former foster son. He was a student at Whitewater and also lived at the youth ranch.

There was a vendors party at the North 40 on Saturday. One lady came from Opheim, Mont., with decorations. There was food samples, homemade jewelry, t-shirts, and makeup for sale.

Late congratulations to Jeremiah (Mya) on winning the recent school essay contest.

The church bell at Whitewater Church rang for the first time in many years. Great!

School activities are in full swing. The track team and golfers are finally able to be active now that the snow is gone. Good luck to them.

Here are some upcoming events in Whitewater: School concert (all grades) on Monday, April 30 at 7 p.m.; Baccalaureate on Friday, May 18 at 6 p.m.; Graduation on Friday, May 18 at 7 p.m. (lunch follows.) Saco School Concert on Wednesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. (all grades); and Saco Graduation on Satur-day, May 19 at 2 p.m.

The Milk River has risen high! Also, Whitewater Creek is running under the bridge! The ducks and geese are swimming and the birds are singing; even a meadowlark larks …I even saw a robin.

Oh, Mom’s tulips are up, the just grew overnight. Think spring!
