David Jaynes, valedictorian, Tobias Jones, salutatorian, for Dodson Class of 2018

Dodson Public Schools has announced David Jaynes as the valedictorian and Tobias Jones as the salutatorian of the Class of 2018.

David is the son of Cathy and Rob Jaynes of Malta. He compiled a 3.923 grade point average during his time in high school.

David plans to work after high school and hopes to work for BNSF in the future. He is a: four-year Honor Student, five-year member of the Dodson high school basketball team, four-year member of the high school track team and a member of the Dodson Close-Up.

Tobias is the son of Dawn Jones and Warren Werk, Jr. of Hays, Mont. He compiled a 3.458 grade point average during his time in high school.

Tobias plans to attend Aaniiih Nakoda College at Fort Belknap and will pursue an associate degree in Allied Health. After graduating from ANC, he plans to get a bachelor's degree as a Radiology Technician.

He is a four-year Honor Student, member of JMG and Upward Bound.

Dodson's graduation will be Friday, May 18 starting at 6 p.m. in the school's gymnasium. Joining Jaynes and Jones in graduation will be classmates Donna Dale, Paul Doney, Eagle Doney, Les Jones, Marty Lonebear, and Kyla Racine. There will also be a junior high graduation during the event.

Dodson Schools have chosen Tianna Bloomer as the graduation speaker.
