June 20 is deadline to apply for PCCF Grant Loan

The Phillips County Community Foundation (PCCF) is pleased to announce they are accepting applications for their 2022 grant program. The Foundation seeks to fund creative and collaborative community projects (not events or sponsorships) that will benefit the residents and/or communities in Phillips County, Montana. The Foundation hopes to fund several worthy projects that meet their simple guidelines.

To apply for a PCCF Community Grant, please submit a simple letter of request to PCCF and include the following information:

1)Name, address, phone number and email of the organization, IRS exemption status (if any)

2)What are the primary goals/mission of your organization or group

3)Name, phone and email your contact person for this application

4)A brief summary of the project you are seeking funds for, please include project timeline (when does project start, how long will it take and when will it be done.)

5)A description of how the proposed project will benefit the community and its residents

6)A summary of the total project costs or project budget along with the amount you are requesting from PCCF and any amounts that have been received or requested from other sources. NOTE – PCCF grant funds are very limited, we have a total of $5,000 to grant in 2022 and hope to fund several projects, please plan according.

The request letter must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm - Monday, June 20, 2022. The request letter may be dropped off at Bank of Malta (with Cheri Doll), First State Bank (with Terry Skones) or at Independence Bank or emailed to [email protected] on or before 5PM, June 20th. Grant awards will be announced within a 30-day period of the deadline with funding checks to follow.

PCCF in partnership with the Montana Community Foundation continues to build a permanent charitable endowment and community savings account for current projects and future generations. This past year the local endowment grew with a $2000 gift from Rosemary Veseth and family. From its fund earnings, PCCF strives to fund worthy projects throughout Phillips County that are respective of the trust and intent of our donors, while maintaining the integrity and responsiveness as a community foundation.
