Farewell to Dixie Stordahl, as she is moving to Billings where her sister and son reside. Everyone will really miss her! Happy days Dixie.

A farewell to Madison Taylor as well. She was here for a month at Grandma Pat Murdocks to help out and visit her mother Therese and her Grandfather Ronnie Haynes who had been on the mend. She also visited with her Aunt Lacey and Uncle Jason Beil and cousins Royce, Ridge Rowdy, and Whit plus Nanny Lexie. Her smile and help will be missed.

It rained in the area for several days and nights. 1\2 to 1 inch in places!

The colds, flu, and coughs have been making the rounds and it froze for the first time Thursday evening, getting down to 17 degrees.

Allen Vacher came from France recently to visit his son Max who works as a ranch hand for ranchers in the area. Max took his father to see the Montana parks before his return home.

Brent and Debbie Anderson drove to Clancy to watch their 12-year-old granddaughter Sienna play soccer last week.

Recent visitors to the Olsen farm to see Grandma Margie, Sue, and Allie were Nancy Olsen, daughter Tessa and Pat Lynn and their daughters Emerson 3 1\2, and Sawyer 1 1\2. With them were two of their friends Alex and Bryan who own a restaurant. They all live in Florence.

There have been a lot of visitors from foreign countries and other US states as Montana has a lot to offer for sightseeing as the countryside looked pretty good this year, compared to last year with the grasshoppers and drought.

Jeff and Athlete Douglas-Murdock from Dominica spent two weeks at the Murdock homestead before flying home on Oct. 8 from Billings. Their first stop in early September was to Jamaica to attend a council on legal education for all countries in the Caribbean. Jeffrey represented the Bar Association of Dominica.

Then they went to see their daughters Emma and Daisy and their granddaughter Zia in Maryland

Next, they spent a week in Ely NV with the Jesse Murdock family and also celebrated their 35th anniversary on Sept 24th. Their journey continued on taking them to Montana to see their son Hector Douglas-Murdock in Malta along with his wife Danielle, daughter Kay Anne and son Noah, and other relatives before getting to Whitewater to see Grandma Pat. Kathleen Murdock drove up from SD to visit her brother Jeff and Athlene. Lexie came and they had a good ol’ game of Pinochle. Debbie and Brent also spent an evening visiting.

The three young Anderson boys took part in the RCAN Rodeo at the Pavilion on Saturday. Ryett placed 1st in break-away. 7-year-old Rodee was 2nd in break-away and 3-year-old Rip placed in sorting and dummy roping.

Denice Cox was in Malta Sunday for a baby shower for her Grandson Cash Coleman and his wife Randi (Brooks).

Bri Brooks, Randi’s sister-in-law did the decorations for the party at the GN. She and her husband Devon Brooks live on Grandpa Mavencamp’s farm north of Whitewater.
