Margaret Delores LaRoque (January 20, 1943 - April 26, 2024)

Heaven has gained an Angel!

Margaret was born on January 20, 1943, to Perle "Bill" and Olga Bailey in Glasgow, Mont. She passed away at St. John's United in Billings, Mont., on April 26, 2024, from Alzheimer's Disease. She was one of the kindest, honest and loving person to all who knew her and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Margaret married Francis "Frank" LaRoque on October 5, 1961, eloping to Coeur d'Alene, ID, and was married until Francis' death in 1996. They met at the Catholic School playground when they were 12 and 13 years old. They had three daughters whom they loved to spend time with including, camping, hunting, stock car racing and more.

Margaret loved to make quilts with her mother-in-law and loved working in her yard, flower gardens and relaxing in her "Lattice Room."

Margaret was a stay-at-home mom while doing the books for Frank's Body Shop which they owned for many years. In 1979, she went to work for the State Liquor Store.

Later, she worked for the Malta Irrigation Office, retiring from there in 2008 at age 65.

She also worked at the Malta Country Home as a part-time cook. She was very proud of her accomplishments and made many friends along the way.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Michelle Rock (Bill) of Malta; Rhonda Beck (Stan) of Casper, Wyo., and Carmell Curley of Cooney Dam, Mont. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Rock and Stacie Rock of Malta; Adam Simanton and Jillian Daiss (Duston) of Casper, Wyo.; and Shane Curley of Winifred, Mont.; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Cilz, and Jordyn, Jace and Jackson Simanton. Also, several nephews, nieces, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Francis, her brother, David Bailey, her parents, and her great-grandson, Hiatt Cilz. Also preceding her in death were several in-laws and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Alzheimer's Disease facility or in care of Heights Family Funeral Home, 733 West Wicks Lane, Billings, MT, 59105.

Services will be held at the Malta Lutheran Church on May 11, 2024, at 11 a.m. with a light lunch provided. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Glasgow immediately following the luncheon.
