    The Phillips County Library was one of 34 libraries in the state to receive the "EXCELLENT LIBRARY SERVICES AWARD" from the Montana State Library. This is a prestigious award as any academic, public, school or special library in the state can apply. Adding up the number of libraries in those categories comes to a total of 730 libraries that could apply.   • PC Library looking for Comment on Saturday Closures

    The Phillips County Library Board met on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 and Bruce Christofferson, Phillips County Commissioner/PC Library Board member brought up that he would like to try keeping the library closed on Saturdays.     The Phillips County Library has the theme of “Oceans of Possibilities” for this summer’s reading program. We encourage preschoolers, through coming high school seniors; to sign up and earn an award for every five hours of reading up to 40 hours. Sign-up will begin the week of June 6th.   • PC Library forced to change Wi-Fi rules due to piracy

    The Phillips County Library has updated and revised its Internet Policy due to copyright violations during the use of the wireless internet that the library has provided to the community since 2011. Until recently the library's wireless internet access was provided 24-hours a day, without password protection, and there were no issues.   • Library set to host Classic Reading Challenge Pt. 2

    The Phillips County Library is doing the Classics Challenge again this year. The Challenge has a whole new list of 20 books and sign up starts on Feb. 1, 2018. The challenge is open to junior high and high school students, as well as adults, and is a contest with the ultimate goal of broadening people’s reading tastes.
