    Renovations are completed at the permanent Bureau of Land Management Malta Field Office located at 501 S. 2nd St. Staff has been moving files and equipment from the temporary Highway 2 facility back to the renovated S. 2nd St. building.     Approximately 400 people attended the scoping meetings about the American Prairie Reserve’s grazing permit change proposal. The four meetings were held by the Bureau of Land Management.     The area burned by the July Fire will reopen for public use May 11. The July Fire area of the Little Rocky Mountains in Phillips County, Mont., had been closed since September due to public safety concerns.     The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is asking for the public's help in determining what it should analyze as it considers proposed changes to several grazing leases. American Prairie Reserve (APR) controls private properties tied to 18 BLM grazing allotments in Fergus, Petroleum, Phillips, and Valley Counties.     As time marches on, buildings show signs of age and their uses change. The Bureau of Land Management Malta Field Office has temporarily changed its home to 47285 Highway 2, Malta, Mont., (the former Noble Energy Building), while renovations are being made to the permanent 501 S. 2nd St. location.     July Fire UPDATE: ( WARNING - Potential evacuation of Landusky, Montana) Winds have shifted and are now coming of of the east-southeast pushing the July Fire northwest towards Landusky. Phillips County Sheriff's Deputies have made contact with residents of Landusky and told them to get Ready to evacuate.
