    Doris Marie (Cummings) Matsch, of Spokane Wash., was born February 3, 1931 in Malta, Mont., to Newton and Etta Cummings. She died December 17, 2017 in Spokane, Wash., after a short battle with cancer. Doris grew up on a cattle ranch near Regina, then moved to town with her siblings to attend Malta High School.
