    The Malta-Whitewater Wrestlers took third at the Choteau Classic on Saturday, January 14 behind junior Trey Simanton and sophomore Kolter Schipman who took first and second respectively in their weight classes. Simanton is (25-2) picked up five wins last Saturday, including his championship win in the 138 pound class over Fairfield's Cole Giles (3-1) by 6-4 decision.     The Malta-Whitewater Mustangs Wrestling team had a strong outing at the Harlem Wildcat Invitational last Saturday, taking third place out of 11 teams. Malta had 103 points. First place went to Glasgow, who had 140 points and second place Chinook having 117. Harlem was fourth with 81.     Last Thursday the Malta Middle School Colts hosted the Malta Wrestling invitational at the Old Gym. The stats weren't provided but the PCN caught up to a few of the wrestlers during the event.     The Malta-Whitewater Wrestling team fared well at the State B-C Tournament last weekend in Billings at the MetraPark. Trey Simanton led Malta, placing third in the 113 pound weight class.     Malta hosted it’s annual Malta Athletic Club Wrestling Invitational, which featured some pretty strong competition for the Malta Wrestling Team.     The Malta Mustangs wrestling team had a great showing at the Harlem Wildcat Invitational last Saturday, placing fifth place of fourteen squads at the meet, with 77 points.     Malta's wrestling team had an impressive showing last weekend at the Choteau Classic and Big Sandy Mixer. Trey Simanton, a 113 pound freshman came home the first place finisher at the Choteau Classic after defeating junior Trevor Moore the top ranked 113 class wrestler of Choteau in the championship match.
