Whitewater Rural News for week of April 15, 2015

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.

Sally Austin, Jeanie Green and Jackie Cole went to Phillip Sudbrack’s funeral Saturday.

Janice Reichelt and Shelly went to Kremlin recently to a Cancer Drive Cook-off named “Men who cook for Women who wine!” Joyce Austin and Denice Donovan’s two sons, Darby and Devon, won the cook-off.

Jeanie Green went to Missoula last week to Carol Brown’s daughter’s wedding. Carol is a 1972 Whitewater graduate.

Kate Webb and Pat Murdock drove to Great Falls last weekend and took in some art displays. They also visited Morgan and Alex Murdock. The couple are new parents of a baby boy born March 25. The new grandparents on the Murdock side are Nancy and James W. Murdock.

Jimmy Jr. has just returned from a two-week visit with relatives in Scotland.

Debbie Anderson was in Helena over the weekend for her granddaughter, Seinna Simonton’s, 4th birthday. The little girl’s parents are Jenna and Troy Simonton.

Little Ryett, seven months, son of Brie and Jett Anderson, was baptized in Whitewater on Easter Sunday.

Jeanie Depuydt, a former resident, is working at a new job at a Glasgow bank.

The Murdock and Dunbar boys have been fence building at their bull pasture north of Malta. The state will be working on widening the highway there this summer.

Kenny Brainard and his fiancé from Idaho, visited with his grandmother, Margie Olsen, and got in on some ranching experience during calving season.
