One Nation, Under God

Loring News for August 24, 2016

What a beautiful week to start a new school year! The weather was on the cool side and cloudy so it was easier to be inside. Then just at the weekend, it cleared up and started to be warmer!

The gardens are producing nicely. We have more cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers than we have ever had before and we still have the same amount of plants!

Last weekend Dixie Stordahl traveled to Billings to see the family members who live there and met up with Dee Arndt, Beret, Chris Arndt and Jay Aikins all from Kalispell. Jay and Chris played in the Beer Garden Patio three times a day for the entire fair week. I caught three different sets and enjoyed them all!

Dee Arndt, Debbie Richau and Dixie Stordahl had a sister session with a camera and got a good sister portrait!

Carol Lumsden spent Saturday in Malta, visiting her mother and father.

Dixie Stordahl attended the joint Masonic and Eastern Star installation of officers for the ensuing year on Sunday. After the installation everyone was treated to a barbeque picnic!

Cary Woodruff of the GPDM gave a lecture on Your Inner Fish, a comparative anatomy lesson on Friday.

Cindy and Dave Clark have some squash that is growing through the wind break which has never happened before. I say it is coming to get them, but Dave said it is scary to go out to the garden since the squash is outta control!

All the farmers and ranchers are combining their grain or gathering up the bales in lines in the fields so they can load them on trucks easier. Bless all you farmers and people who provide the world population with food!

Danny and Judy Simonson and girls Kiana and Keira were at the Crow Fair this past week for the rodeo!

Ray Harms is digging the basement of the new site for the Lutheran Church. It is exciting watching the progress!

The fall sports are in the second week now and at Whitewater we have students at football, cross country and volleyball! Go team go!

Hope your week is awesome! Don’t forget to look up at night and see the stars and the moon!
