Mavericks fall to Scobey in three

The North Country Mavericks played three competitive sets against Scobey last Saturday evening in Hinsdale, ultimately the team fell in three with the scores being 25-16, 25-21 and 25-20.

Though the team is dealing with several injuries, the Mavericks gave it their all.

"We are not 100 percent by far," Coach Malone said. "And Jada (Sudbrack) got hurt last week. She practiced hard through it. She was in pain and wasn't 100 percent but she gave what she could."

Sudbrack has been the team's lead hitter but played with a splint on her right thumb.
