Phillips County Hospital was recently awarded the LifeCenter Northwest's – Tissue Donation - Referral Achievement Award.
This award recognizes the PCH Medical and nursing staff as playing an integral part in ensuring that tissue donation is a possibility for patients who pass away at PCH.
Tissue donation is extremely time sensitive and ensuring referral calls are made quickly allows for best outcomes. Hospitals, such as PCH, who achieve compliance rates at 95-percent or greater demonstrate a focus on processes that ensure donation options are maintained for patients and their loved ones.
Thanks to our PCH Clinical team for being there at the time of greatest need for our patients and their families and for assisting them compassionately, caringly and appropriately for their tissue donation choices and options.
