The Enterprise office was entered and the office safe ransacked. Publisher H. A. Johnson commented rather sourly on this incident, saying he could not understand anyone attempting to rob his safe - as he had been through the safe numerous times himself and had never been able to find anything.

Bucket of Blood finally accepts whist challenge

After burying it in your silence a series of insulting and taunting remarks allegedly inspired by Capt. Fred C. Gabriel of the Nudist Whist Club, the Bucket of Blood has accepted the challenge for a match, we are advised.

Our rumor factory reports the Magner outfit is highly incensed at the inferred that the Bucket of Blood's two years retirement from the field has been due to fear of Gabriel's and others snoose outfits in the community. Two years ago it was decided to retire from competition until the other teams learned a little about the game. It is further declared that if Gabriel and his team wish to make a real sporting event of the contest and are willing to wager their clothes on the outcome, the Bucket of Blood promise to make them Nudist in fact as well as name. Gabriel is challenged to name his date and come out fighting.
