Malta Cemetery News for May 24, 2017

The Malta Cemetery District is getting ready for Memorial Day Weekend. Watering, mowing and trimming will continue through May 25th. A map and directory to aid in finding grave sites will be available in the northwest corner of the cemetery.

If visitors nee additional help, the caretaker will be on the grounds during the Memorial Day weekend.

The Board asks that you drive only on established roads when you are decorating your graves. A steel post means “do not drive”.

Again this year artificial flowers will be available at the cemetery shop if visitors would like to decorate a grave and don’t have flowers of their own.

Flowers and decorations sitting or based on cement will be allowed to remain throughout the season.

Those flowers and plants sitting on the grass need to be removed by June 5th to enable continued maintenance of the cemetery. The Board reminds you to only pick up your flowers.
