One Nation, Under God

Loring News for June 21, 2017

This week on Friday we will be holding a picnic in the park at Loring as a fundraiser for the Loring Hall which needs a few repairs and maintenance. It starts at 5 p.m., with a Norweigan horseshoe tournament to follow. Everyone is welcome. Take a road trip to look at the crops, flowers, etc. and stop in Loring for a nice meal. If the weather is icky, we will be in the Hall.

I am assuming that everyone had a great Fathers Day. Many families went to the lake or Fourchette Bay. Tom and I stayed close to home for a change.

All of North Phillips County is reeling in grief for the Bruce and Lynn Hill family on the death of their daughter, Heather White and her three children in a head-on collision on Saturday morning. Heartfelt sympathy is sent to the family.

Dixie Stordahl attended a dinner at the Tin Cup welcoming Art and Karen Anderson back for the Wine and Dino. They are from Illinois. Art was instrumental in getting some of the science done on Leonardo our Dinosaur mummy.

Friday I attended the Wine and Dino at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum. We had a great crowd and yummy meal!

Still dry up here. The Longest day of the year coming up this week! Happy summertime! My oriole flew in to grab a little easy pickings in my feed area.

Remember to tell your loved ones that you love them and hug them as often as you can!
