Meals on Wheels

The GN has gotten the Meals on Wheels contract for the 2017-18 fiscal year. Congregate meals served at the GN will remain at $4 per meal.

MT Veteran Affairs

7-13. On Thursday, July 13, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Meet the Author at the GPDM

7-14. On Friday, July 14, the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum will host Russell Rowland, author of Fifty-Six Counties, A Montana Journey, for a Meet the Author session starting at 6:30 p.m.

Dirt Daubers Flower Show

7-15. Come to the Dirt Daubers Flower Show on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the HG Robinson House. Enjoy the flower arrangements and stroll through the yard at this free event.

PC Museum Antique & Collectible Show

7-15. The Phillips County Museum Antique and Collectible Sale will be Saturday, July 15 at the H.G. Robinson House in Malta from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

7-17-thru-21. The Galactic Starveyors VBS for youths ages three through 6th grade will be held July 17-through-21, starting at 9 a.m.-thru-noon at the Community Church. Two other churches joining this event are Lighthouse Baptist and Grace Fellowship. Call 654-2447 for more information.

Annual Crop Tour

7-17 through 7-20. The annual Phillips County Crop Tour will be starting Monday, July 17 and running through July 20. See more info in the story on page B2.

Malta Lutheran Church Bible School

7-17-thru-20. Starting on Monday, July 17 and running through July 20, Malta Lutheran Church will be hosting Bible School from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for grades incoming kindergarten to sixth, free of charge. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and there are 40, first come, first serve slots with limited kindergarten slots. Passport Fair

7-18. Malta Post Office is having Passport Fair on Tuesday, July 18 from 8 a.m.. to noon. Get passport photos taken. In the new year you need a passport to allow you to fly anywhere in the U.S. Questions call 654-1424.

CHS Big Sky Customer Appreciation BBQ

7-24. On Monday, July 24, CHS Big Sky will be hosting a customer appreciation BBQ from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

North Country

Basketball Camp

7-24 thru 27. The North County Basketball Camp will be held at Whitewater School starting Monday, July 24 and running thru Thursday, July 27. The camp is open to 4th through 12th grade boys and girls. For more information call 674-5454.

Fort Peck Theatre Free Show at Museum

7-27. The Fort Peck Summer Theatre will be performing at the Phillips County Museum on Thursday, July 27 starting at 2 p.m. The show is free.
