June 22, 2017

11:12 p.m. 911 received reporting a horse trailer on its side on Hwy 2, west of Malta; one lane of traffic was completely blocked; Deputies and MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started.

June 23, 2017

12:23 a.m. Deputies closed Hwy 2 west of Malta for a brief time frame while horses involved in the above accident could be trailered into another trailer.

3:10 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am to 10pm tonight.

6:43 a.m. Male reported a broken down semi truck and trailer, west of Malta on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; driver brought to town to make arrangements for assistance.

11:54 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Sheriff responded to the call; case file started.

12:07 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from an ex-boyfriend; Sheriff handled the call.

12:31 p.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Larajean Roberts, to PCSO to be incarcerated on a Blaine Co SO warrant; female later released on bond paid; case file started.

2:23 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10pm.

2:40 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back; Deputy handled the call.

5:35 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10pm.

9:59 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled; new Lake Wind Advisory issued from 10am to 7pm for Friday.

12:55 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

3:25 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10am to 7pm.

7:52 a.m. Female reported a vehicle/deer accident, minor damage to the vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; white form issued.

8:58 a.m. Female requested a welfare check on a family member who would be traveling through Phillips Co enroute to North Dakota; family member left purse and cell phone at her residence; Deputy responded to the call; female’s vehicle not located in Phillips Co.

9:58 a.m. Kenco Security reported a commercial burglar alarm at a local business; all found to be okay, employee accidentally set it off.

11:00 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a vehicle that had been left near a local business; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and found to be okay.

3:02 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 9pm tonight.

3:08 p.m. 911 received reporting a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, east of Saco; call transferred to Valley Co SO.

3:48 p.m. Female reported a delivery truck parked in an alley for an extended amount of time; truck moved while on the phone.

6:21 p.m. 911 received reporting a male in a diabetic coma, in the Zortman area; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient refused transport to the PC Hospital.

6:39 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a motorist on Hwy 2, east of Malta; all found to be okay, just pulled over to use the phone.

8:35 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 9pm.

8:46 p.m. Female reported a dog running loose near a local convenience store; ACO handled the call.

10:16 p.m. Male reported an attempted break-in to his residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:31 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

June 24, 2017

1:52 a.m. Female reported suspicious activity at a residence she was taking care of; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

8:48 a.m. Female reported a water leak near 5th Ave/6th St E; information passed onto City employee.

9:18 a.m. Malta Fire Dept reported to the Fire Hall for structure fire training.

1:09 p.m. Female reported being harassed by an individual; Deputy handled the call.

2:26 p.m. Fire Weather Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible; a combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create high fire growth potential.

7:45 p.m. Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

10:10 p.m. Male reported an individual looking into parked vehicles on 5th St W; Deputies responded to the call; individual not located.

11:57 p.m. Male reported a door left open/unlocked at a local business; Deputy and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; building secured and door locked.

June 25, 2017

1:30 a.m. Local tavern requested law enforcement assistance with removing individuals from the location; Deputies and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:24 a.m. Deputy reported a fire left going where several individuals had a bonfire at Nelson Reservoir; individuals stopped, told to go back & douse out the fire; Deputy followed individuals to make sure it was done.

3:50 a.m. Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening; low relative humidity, hot temperatures and gusty winds are possible.

5:19 a.m. Female reported an injured deer on the Regina Road, south of Malta; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden; deer located and humanely euthanized.

9:13 a.m. Female reported a dog running loose on the north side of Malta; ACO handled the call.

10:05 a.m. Female reported damage to her vehicle; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

1:11 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding “garbage” in her alleyway.

1:37 p.m. Female reported her neighbor’s dogs were barking constantly; Undersheriff responded to the call; all was quiet in the neighborhood.

1:55 p.m. Female requested “someone with flashers” to slow traffic down while changing a tire; Undersheriff handled the call.

2:36 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am Monday to 9pm Tuesday.

3:18 p.m. Female reported an injured deer on the Sun Prairie Road; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

5:23 p.m. Male traveling through reported one of his tires blew and needed assistance; had made it to Malta already; local tire business responded to the call.

5:37 p.m. Fergus Co SO reported a hitchhiker traveling northbound on Hwy 191 south of Malta; information passed onto Deputies.

5:47 p.m. Male reported kids jumping into the irrigation canal in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; juveniles not located.

6:46 p.m. Deputy received a report of a vehicle speeding down alley ways in a residential area; driver located and advised to slow it down.

11:53 p.m. Glasgow Weather Service advised Phillips County is under a RED FLAG WARNING, from 11am to 9pm today.

June 26, 2017

2:23 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 9am today until 9pm Tuesday.

3:58 a.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect from noon until 8pm today.

7:05 a.m. Female reported someone “welding” into the early hours of the night; Undersheriff handled the call.

9:20 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a possibly abandoned vehicle and trailer; Undersheriff responded to the call; owner located and vehicles would be removed in the next few days.

9:25 a.m. Male reported individuals shooting off fireworks; Undersheriff responded to the call; individuals located and advised.

11:02 a.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 8pm tonight.

12:29 p.m. Male reported an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, westbound from Malta; information passed onto MHP Dispatch.

12:31 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire off of Route 8, near People’s Creek; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

1:19 p.m. Female reported a dead dog on a residential street; information passed onto ACO.

1:29 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Havre; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

2:35 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm Tuesday.

5:29 p.m. Male reported a male hitchhiker on Hwy 191 south of Malta; caller advised male had been checked out and was okay.

6:13 p.m. Male reported a male hitchhiker on Hwy 191 south of Malta; caller advised male had been checked out and was okay.

8:01 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm Tuesday.

8:02 p.m. Red Flag Warning has expired.

8:26 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for Phillips Co until 930pm; strong thunderstorms with up to 50mph gusts are possible.

8:54 p.m. Male reported a possible fire south and east of Bowdoin; Deputy responded to the call; no fire located, just dust from Dry Lake.

9:07 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for Phillips Co until 10pm; strong thunderstorms with up to 50-55mph gusts are possible.

9:15 p.m. Female reported several other females outside of the caller’s residence “fighting”; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

9:39 p.m. Female reported a fire off of Fourchette Bay Road in south Phillips Co; South Malta FD and BLM Fire Crews responded to the call; fire found to be in Killwoman Coulee, later controlled and extinguished.

10:38 p.m. South Malta FD reported another fire in south Phillips Co and requested Malta FD be sent; Malta FD responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.
