Sympathy to the family of the man killed in a car accident near Whitewater.

Get well wishes to Tricia (Hammond) LaBrie and all who are sick.

Guests visiting Whitewater were Jackie Durham of Pinehurst, Idaho, and Ann Taylor of Spokane, Wash. We enjoyed their company at the Senior Dinner at the North 40 Café.

There will be Vacation Bible School at Malta (Unity) Lutheran Church July 17-thru-20 starting at 9 a.m. All children are welcome.

Happy birthday to Pat Murdock, Debbie Hammond, and Ollie Olson all of Whitewater. Happy birthday to Gale Young (daughter) of Saco and Teresa (formerly Moore), my daughter living in Swift Current, Canada. Also, happy birthday and anniversary to all July celebrators.

Congratulations to the staff of the Phillips County News on their recent awards! Good job! Also, congratulations to all the correspondents in different towns. It’s nice to hear local news from around the county.

Also, congratulations to Erika Nagy (Pastor Bob’s daughter) who was selected to go to Europe in music group. That’s wonderful!

The weather is hot and so terribly dry, most areas of Mont. Beware of fires and pray for rain.
